You might have seen my photo, I used to
be called Zeta, but how I hated that name!! After a few days my foster mum gave up trying to call it as I decided not to listen to her when she called me Pippa I liked that and always answered her. If you have seen my photo you will have seen that I didn’t look that good. Sarah my foster mum almost cried when she came to pick me up. Barbara the dog warden that had taken me to meet Sarah was very nice but I really did not feel that great so she did not see me at my best. We seemed to be in the car for a long time, Sarah sang and
talked to me the whole time there where times when I really wanted to go to
sleep as I had not had a lot of sleep in the dog pound where I had been staying
but I did not want Sarah to think I was impolite. When we had got to her home Steve that
was my foster dad had made me a lovely bed up. They just kept hugging me and patting
me, I was very grateful. The next day Sarah took me in the car
again, oh no I thought where am I going now but it was ok we went to see this
nice person Sarah said it was ok it was only the vet and soon I would be feeling
better they put me on the scales I was only just 37kg Sarah really did cry this
time. Lissi the nice lady on the phone that Sarah spoke to all the time told her
to take it slowly and feed me a bit at a time which is what she has done. I have
now tried pasta, chicken, tripe, scrambled egg but my favourite is live yogurt I
know it is not lady like but I do dribble a lot when I see it come out of the
fridge some times it lands on Sarah’s foot [opps sorry] but she never minds she
just sticks her finger in the pot and scraps what’s left in out for Jake and
myself. I don’t think I have mentioned Jake have I he is my new friend he is a
Springer spaniel when I first got here he used to lie with me to keep me
company. In fact he still does!
I am feeling a lot better now I am still quite thin but Sarah says I look beautiful and soon will be as right as nine pence what ever that means? I have been told that there is a really nice family that would like to take me to there home I’m not sure what that means and if Sarah and the rest of my new friends will come with me but I’m sure I will find out. Taigh he’s my foster brother was quite strange this morning, he told me I would be loved very much at my new home and that he would always love me and find out how I was getting on then Sarah and Steve took me to the nice vet again to be weighed I am getting very good now I just go and sit on the scales because I know that is what I’m there for Sarah was so pleased I weighed 43 kilo’s. What a giant I’m becoming ha ha. Then we went to work, I like work I lie under Sarah’s desk and get lots of love from all the people that come to her office some times I also help with the photocopier. Every body gave me loads of love today they wished me luck in my new home. [There’s that word again]. Then we all went home Steve made me scrambled egg, opps dribbled again. Then a lady came with two children they gave me loads of fuss. After a while Sarah put on my lead and the ladies son took me out for a wee. Then they all went to the car. They opened the back up and I just got in. I almost even forgot to say goodbye to Sarah. She told me to be a good girl and that she loved me and that I was going to my new family. Then we drove off as Sarah was waving to me. I think things are going to be ok from now on! |
